How do you use my data?
  • When you create and log into your Couch Heroes account, we will collect your name, email address, phone number, address, company details (if applicable) and your payment details. We collect this personal data in order to take steps to enter into a contract with you and to allow you to access games and services on our platform.
  • When you create a tailored profile, we will collect your age range, gender, gaming preferences, and any avatar or virtual assets that you create. Your avatar and virtual asset data may be shared across partner games integrated with Couch Heroes to enable you to use your personalised content across multiple games. We collect this personal data with your consent and use it to provide you with tailored information about games and products we think you would like, and to enable the cross-game functionality of our platform. You can change your preferences at any time through your account settings. Please note that removing your consent for certain features and access may affect your gameplay and your interactions with our gaming partners and their games.
  • When you interact with other games through Couch Heroes, including launching and acquiring other games, we will collect gameplay data such as your player profile information, in-game inventory, achievements, friend information and gameplay statistics. We collect this personal data because it is necessary for the performance of our contract with you to provide the integrated gaming experience, and because we have a legitimate interest in understanding how players use our platform and partner games, as well as operating our platform effectively and providing you with a seamless experience across partner games.
  • To send you marketing information, where you have previously expressed an interest in our products or services, (and not opted out of marketing) we will use your name and email address to send you updates, because it is in our legitimate interests to promote our other products and services that we think you might be interested in.
