Our first milestone came in early 2023, with the concept of quests that reward time. This idea became the backbone of the Couch Heroes universe, a place where player effort is celebrated through progression, community, and discovery with partner games.
About Couch Heroes
Founded in 2022, Couch Heroes began with a simple idea, that gaming should give back to players. We wanted to create worlds where every moment spent playing, exploring, or connecting had real value. What started as a small prototype built by a handful of developers from all over the world has since evolved into a growing studio with one mission: to make gaming meaningful again and social.
Our first milestone came in early 2023, with the concept of quests that reward time. This idea became the backbone of the Couch Heroes universe, a place where player effort is celebrated through progression, community, and discovery with partner games.
FUTURE
In 2024, the studio reached a major milestone with the first internal playtest of Project Agora, the foundation of our partner-driven quest system that integrates real indie titles into the game world. That same year, we began opening the Dev Portal, allowing studios to connect their games, track engagement, and offer rewards directly inside Couch Heroes.
Now, as we move through 2025, Couch Heroes is expanding both the game and platform, shaping a universe where players can explore, earn, and share experiences that truly matter.
